Stinnett Lectures at UA

Ashley Stinnett (Ph.D. Arizona, 2014) was in Tucson on Thursday to present a lecture in the UA Student Union Memorial Center’s Copper Room. Dr. Stinnett, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Folk Studies and Anthropology at Western Kentucky University, gave the talk “Of Blood and Butchers: From Adulescentulus Carnifex to The Walking Dead—How Cultural Tropes Stigmatize Modern Meat Cutters.” Read the abstract here.
