Bronitsky Forges New Mexico–Zimbabwe Links

Gordon Bronitsky (Ph.D. Arizona, 1977) has been a volunteer tutor in reading for six year olds at Atrisco Elementary School in Albuquerque for about five years. It's 100% minority and most students qualify for free lunches. Dr. Bronitsky and Atrisco fifth grade teachers are beginning a project, tentatively titled “Where We Live,” in which fifth grade students at Atrisco will exchange photos and drawings of their community by e-mail with 6th Form students at Lushumbe Primary School, Matobo District, Matabeleland Province South, Zimbabwe.
