MacLellan Receives Dumbarton Oaks Fellowship

Jessica MacLellan, doctoral candidate, has accepted a Junior Fellowship at the Dumbarton Oaks Research Library and Collection in Washington, D.C., for the 2016–2017 academic year. MacLellan will spend the year writing her dissertation in the company of other scholars of Precolumbian Art and Archaeology. She follows in the footsteps of School of Anthropology alumni Jessica Munson (Ph.D. Arizona, 2012) and Kenichiro Tsukamoto (Ph.D. Arizona, 2014). Additionally, Dr. Takeshi Inomata and Dr. Daniela Triadan are in residence at Dumbarton Oaks this year. These fellowships are very competitive, making this an impressive string of successes for UA’s Mayanists!
