Health Sciences Post-doc for Crocker

SOA graduate Rebecca Crocker (Ph.D. 2016) accepted a position as Postdoctoral Research Associate with Dr. David Marrero in the Center for Border Health Disparities (CBORD) in the UA Health Sciences. In this new position, Rebecca will be working to develop and expand her research agenda related to the emotional health impacts of Mexican migration to Arizona; death, disappearance, and suffering related to the border crossing; community level health mitigations to immigrant stressors; and the unique health challenges affecting the rural farmworker population in southeastern Arizona. She looks forward to working with a host of new colleagues in the Health Sciences as well as maintaining her strong collaborations in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
