Hart Produces NPS Podcasts

Alumna Sharlot Hart (M.A. Applied Archaeology, 2015) is in the midst of creating a series of podcasts for the National Park Service. The podcasts are about Archeology in the U.S. Southwest, with a focus on NPS sites, programs, and partnerships. You can already download or listen to three out of the planned eight episodes here; one new episode per month should appear through March 2018. (Of note for the SoA, the second installment features our own grad student Rebecca Renteria.) An Archaeologist for the Southern Arizona Office for most of the past two years, Sharlot has worked for the park service about eight years, starting out as a front-line, seasonal Park Guide. She now primarily serves the ten southern-most NPS units in Arizona, covering from Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot National Monuments in the center of the state south to Organ Pipe Cactus and Tumacácori south of Tucson.
