Sheridan and Koyiyumptewa in Santa Fe

Thomas Sheridan, Professor and Research Anthropologist (Southwest Center), and alumnus Stewart Koyiyumptewa (B.A. Arizona, 1999) will lead a panel discussion of their co-edited volume Moquis and Kastiilam: Hopis, Spaniards, and the Trauma of History 1540–1680 in Santa Fe, New Mexico this Sunday, August 28. The discussion will compare historical documents with Hopi oral histories and takes place at the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture’s Okeeffe Theater, 1:00–4:00 p.m. More information is available on the museum website.
