Reineke and Colibrí Center for Human Rights Mentioned in Los Angeles Times

Recent alumna, Robin Reineke (Ph.D. Arizona, 2016), and the organization she directs, the Colibrí Center for Human Rights, were featured in a Los Angeles Times article discussing Trump’s expanded deportation policies. The Colibrí Center for Human Rights builds sanctuary around the process of reporting and finding information about missing persons last seen crossing the U.S.-Mexico border. The Center works closely with the Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner and supports families of missing migrants through forensic science, advocacy, and community building.
