In a recent UANews press release, Regents' Professor Dr. Barbara Mills discusses the Linking Southwestern Heritage Through Archaeology program that she co-directs together with Sara Chavarria, assistant dean of research in the College of Education. The program is a collaborative effort between the SoA, the UA College of Education, and the National Parks Service. The program’s sixth year began last Friday, March 22, with a trip to the Casa Grande Ruins National Monument. Other trips planned for 2019 participants are Saguaro National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, and Montezuma Castle National Monument.
