Archaeologist Steve Lekson presents “Mimbres in Context: Hohokam, Chaco, Casas Grandes” via Zoom for Old Pueblo Archaeology Center’s March 18, 7:00–8:30 p.m. MST Third Thursday Food for Thought dinnertime series. Southwestern New Mexico’s ancient Mimbres people were interesting not only for their famous pottery but also as “players” in the ancient Southwest’s larger cultural context of Hohokam up to about 1000 CE, Chaco from 1000 through 1150, and the run-up to Paquimé/Casas Grandes from 1150 through 1250.
