Sophie Kenyon

PhD Student

Sophie Kenyon is a PhD student in Sociocultural Anthropology with a minor in Gender & Women’s Studies. Her interests include contraception and reproductive politics in the United States and the relationship between permanent contraception and access to other reproductive technologies and procedures. Before starting her doctoral program, Sophie received her MA from the University of Chicago in 2021 and her BA in Anthropology and BS in Physiology in 2019 from the University of Arizona. In her free time, Sophie likes reading fiction, baking, embroidering, and immersing herself in the world(s) of reality tv. You can also often find her with her cat Earl sitting in her lap.
