Caylyn Rich

Caylyn is an incoming PhD student with a focus in medical anthropology. She completed a BA (2019) in International Studies from the University of Washington before earning a MS (2023) in Health and International Development from the London School of Economics where she received a distinguished award for her dissertation exploring access to care for asylum seekers in the US Southwest. Caylyn has worked for local and state public health departments, and managed research projects developing tools for dementia at the University of Colorado. Her primary area of interest includes ways of caring for both communicable and chronic illness in the context of migration. During her spare time, Caylyn enjoys playing racquet sports, spending time with friends, and hiking.
