Isik Receives CMES Internship Funding

The UA Center for Middle Eastern Studies has awarded graduate student Ibrahim Isik a CMES Internship and Research Experience Funding for research about “Infrastructural Governance in Southeast Turkey.” He will be a research intern in ZAN Foundation between June 1 and July 15, 2022. ZAN is a prominent foundation working for social justice in southeast Turkey for primarily Kurds, but also the region’s gender and ethnic minorities and marginalized groups.
