Zedeño Participates in NSF Workshop

Maria Nieves Zedeño, Professor of Anthropology, was among those invited to participate in the NSF Workshop on “Environmental History of the Great Plains” organized by K. Brosnan (University of Oklahoma, Norman) and B. Frehner (University of Missouri, Kansas City), on May 21–25, 2017. She presented the paper “Bison Hunters and Prairie Fires: A View from the Northern Plains,” coauthored with SOA alumni Christopher Roos (Southern Methodist University; Ph.D. Arizona, 2008), Kacy Hollenback (Southern Methodist University; Ph.D. Arizona, 2012), and SMU graduate student Mary Hagen.
