SoA faculty and alumni contributed to a special issue of the Journal on Migration and Human Security focusing on migrant deaths that was published online: https://journals.sagepub.com/toc/MHS/current
The special issue was a collaboration between the Binational Migration Insitute (BMI), the Center for Migration Studies of New York, and the Accounting for Migrant Deaths Working Group, and is based on a mini-conference BMI hosted at the UA last fall.
Assistant Professor Robin Reineke is co-author on “Excessive Use of Force and Migrant Death and Disappearance in Southern Arizona”.
