Mills and Collaborator Secure Large NSF Grant

Congratulations to Professor and former SoA Director Barbara Mills! She an Sudha Ram, Professor of Management Information Systems, are co-principal investigators of a newly funded $1.7 million National Science Foundation grant. The interdisciplinary project, called cyberSW, will create an online system to bring together and synthesize several centuries worth of archaeological data from the American Southwest. Other collaborators on the project are Archaeology Southwest’s Jeffery Clark (Ph.D. Arizona, 1997) and Matthew Peeples, who in 2011–2012 was a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the SoA’s Southwest Social Networks Project.
