Archaeologist and recent SoA alum Benjamin Bellorado (Ph.D. 2020) was interviewed for the radio series “Earth Notes,” which is produced at Northern Arizona University’s KNAU. “The Cedar Mesa Building Murals Project“ aired on June 23 and recounts Dr. Bellorado’s five-year project to study the fragile murals in Utah’s Bears Ears region and help protect them from looting, increased visitation, and time.
