Plemons Presents in April and May

Eric Plemons, Assistant Professor, was invited by the Women’s Studies Program at Colgate University to give a talk on April 2 about his recent research on how insurance expansion is impacting transgender healthcare in the United States. In early May, Plemons will present at Northwestern University as part of their Cultural Anthropology Lecture Series.

Raichlen to Be PWI Panel Moderator

Associate Professor David Raichlen will serve as moderator for a panel discussion organized by the UA’s Precision Wellness Initiative. The panel begins at 6:00 p.m. on April 24 and follows the 5:00 p.m. presentation “Healthy as a Hunter-Gatherer: Paleofact and Paleofiction in Modern Metabolic Medicine,” by Duke University’s Dr. Herman Pontzer.
