Sean Downey (Ph.D. Arizona, 2009) has just published a Neolithic Archaeology paper in Nature Communications. Sean is a co-author of “Regional Population Collapse Followed Initial Agriculture Booms in Mid-Holocene Europe,” which grew out of his post-doctoral work University College London. Dr. Downey, whose SoA advisor was Professor of Anthropology Stephen Lansing, also completed a postdoc at Stanford and now is an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at the University of Maryland.
