Linguistic Anthropologist Deborah House (Ph.D. Arizona, 1997) died on June 2, 2016 at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. Gordon Bronitsky (Ph.D. Arizona, 1977) has been selected by Lupane State University in Zimbabwe for a Fulbright Specialist project. Over the course of three, two-week visits in 2016 and 2017, Dr. Bronitsky will serve as a guest lecturer, critique the University’s proposed program in Anthropology, assist the university with developing its curriculum in arts management, and hold public lectures and seminars.
