Recent Publications: Jay Stephens Publishes First Review of an Emerging Field
March 1, 2021
Graduate student Jay Stephens was unable to advance his Ph.D. research between March and August 2020 because laboratories were closed, but he didn't let the grass grow under his feet. He took a review paper that he did in 2016 as an independent study for UA Geosciences Professor Mihai Ducea, and updated and expanded it with assistance from Dr. Ducea, Dr. David Killick (Anthropology), and Dr. Joaquin Ruiz (UA Vice President for Global Environmental Futures). The review is now published in the Journal of Archaeological Science as “Use of non-traditional heavy stable isotopes in archaeological research.” For a limited time, the author’s copy can be downloaded from here.
