Date: Tuesday, May 25, 2021 - 10:00

The Parrhasian Heritage Foundation, in collaboration with the Association of Heritage Consultants of Greece (ESDIAPOK), under the auspices of the University of Patras, is sponsoring a Zoom lecture on Tuesday, May 25, at 10:00 a.m. Tucson time. The speaker, Dr. Susan O. Keitumetse, UNESCO Chair Holder (African Heritage and Sustainable Development) at the University of Botswanna, will present “Identifying and Interpreting local African Identities in Protected Nature Landscapes: Towards Sustainable Conservation of African Landscapes.”

The virtual lectures in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the Parrhasian Heritage Park Field School are open to everyone (attendance is free via zoom), and aim to provide a public platform where speakers will share their experiences and knowledge with those interested in heritage management practice. Each session features a short presentation by the invited speaker, followed by a panel discussion with the organizing team, during which the participants have the opportunity to ask questions and make comments.

Join the lecture and panel discussion here.
