Masks, Hand Sanitizer, Quarantines Protect Wild Chimps From Human Viruses, Too

SoA Assistant Professor Jacob Negrey and colleagues recently published a study in the journal Biological Conservation, providing evidence that face masks, distance, and quarantines protect wild chimpanzees from human diseases. Infectious diseases are among the leading conservation threats facing chimps and other great apes. The study was featured in a UA News article as well as in a StudyFinds review.
