SOA students Anissa AguilaEmma Louise BrewerTaylor GlaserSydney FowbleStephanie Hernandez, and Mikaela Mahrer joined Robin Reineke (SoA Assistant Professor; Ph.D. SoA 2016), Bruce Anderson, Ph.D. (Forensic Anthropologist, Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner, Ph.D. SoA 1998) and Bruce Parks, M.D. (Forensic Pathologist; Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Pathology) at this year’s “Mountain, Desert, and Coastal Meeting of Forensic Anthropologists” in Boulder City, NV. The students had just completed Dr. Reineke’s Introduction to Forensic Anthropology Course during the spring semester, and celebrated by attending the small regional conference for its 40th anniversary session, where they rubbed elbows with some of the country’s leading forensic anthropologists and learned even more about skeletal anatomy, forensics, and holistic anthropology.
