I am a doctoral candidate in bioarchaeology. I recieved my M.A. in Anthropology from Tulane University in 2013, with a thesis focusing on the historic cemeteries of New Orleans and their use as cultural spaces. My research focuses on developing experimentally-based archaeothanatological approaches to the study of mortuary contexts, both ancient and in modern, forensic contexts.
