About Jessica MacLellan

I am a recent alumna (Ph.D. 2019) focusing on Mesoamerican archaeology. I am interested in the role of household ritual in the development of ancient Maya society. I investigate early residential areas at the site of Ceibal, in Guatemala. For the 2019-2020 academic year, I am a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh.
