About Eric Heffter

I am a PhD student in Archaeology, with a minor in Geosciences. I received my BA in Anthropology from The University of Connecticut in 2008 and my MA in Anthropology from the University of Arizona in 2013. My research interests include lithic analysis, Paleolithic Archaeology and Geoarchaeology . I conduct Paleolithic fieldwork in the Republic of Serbia in the Balkans.  I am in the final year of my program and writing up my dissertation.  I was a Fulbright scholar to the Republic of Serbia in 2016-2017 and my dissertation research has also been funded by The American Philosophical Society and the School of Anthropology.
