About Henry Gorton

Henry has worked with the Bureau of Applied Research in Anthropology (BARA) since 2021. Currently, he is involved with three projects: a Housing and Urban Development (HUD)-funded study on healthy homes, a Thriving Communities Grant from the Community Foodbank, and a National Science Foundation (NSF)-funded study on diversity across engineering majors. Henry graduated from the University of Arizona in 2021 with a BA in Anthropology and Religious Studies. As part of his degree, he wrote an Honors Thesis exploring changes to the U.S. decennial census rolled out in 2020.
