In addition to the recognition of all graduates in attendance, the Brunch also included presentation of the University of Arizona Alumni Association Professional Achievement Award to Dr. Allan Ryan (M.A. Arizona, 1977). Dr. Ryan, an Associate Professor in the School of Indigenous and Canadian Studies at Carleton University, gave a brief talk to the 2017 graduates.
