In addition, to mark the tenth anniversary of the meeting the organizing committee of Sandrizona has invited back the three founders, Maisa Taha (Montclair State University; Ph.D. Arizona, 2014), Ashley Stinnett (Western Kentucky University; Ph.D. Arizona, 2014), and Elizabeth Peacock (University of Wisconsin–La Crosse), for a keynote panel focusing on the relevance of linguistic anthropology outside of the academy and connections between linguistic anthropology and other disciplines. The event will be held in the Marshall Building, room 490.
