Alumnus Wolf Receives Museum Honor

Arthur H. Wolf (M.A. Arizona, 1977) recently received the Hugo G. Rodeck Award for Excellence from the Mountain-Plains Museums Association (MPMA), a regional museum association serving ten states. Named for one of the founders of MPMA, the Rodeck Award recognizes an individual member of MPMA who has contributed significant service to the museum field within the region. It is given infrequently and only in recognition of long and very distinguished service. Recipients are noted for their contributions to the field of state, provincial and local history, art, anthropology or natural history, and are recognized nationally as leaders in the profession.

In addition to a distinguished career as a museum curator, director, president and trustee at museums in the Western U.S., Art Wolf has served as a board member of local, state, regional, national and international museum organizations including the American Association of Museums and its Accreditation Commission.
