Alumnus Bronitsky to Accompany Chinle Valley Singers to China

Gordon Bronitsky (Ph.D. Arizona, 1977) reports that the Chinle Valley Singers ( took First Place in the Song and Dance Competition at this year’s Navajo Nation Festival—AND they have been invited to perform at the American Cultural Centers in Shanghai, Nanjing, and Chengdu, China, November 9–19, 2012! This will be the group’s 9th international tour. The outstanding group has previously toured to Estonia, Latvia, the Netherlands, the Philippines, England, Italy, Dubai, and Oman.
Gordon serves as the group’s agent/manager, and believes that the Chinle Valley Singers are the first Navajo group ever invited to perform in China.
