Alumna Is New Director of Scholar Programs at SAR

School of Anthropology graduate Nicole Taylor (PhD, Arizona 2006) has recently taken a new position at the School for Advanced Research in Santa Fe, NM. As the Director of Scholar Programs, Nicole oversees and coordinates the following programs: Resident and Summer Scholar Programs, which are competitive resident fellowships for social science, humanities, and Native arts scholars; Seminars, which promote communication among scholars who are at a critical stage of research on a shared topic by providing funding for research teams to meet at SAR for three to five days to engage in intense discussion; and the Staley Prize, an annual award given to the author of a book that represents the best writing and scholarship of anthropology.
