Academic Programs

The School of Anthropology provides the full range of educational experience in the undergraduate and graduate programs of study.

Undergraduate Program: An undergraduate program in Anthropology provides a solid foundation for further work in other disciplines. Our undergraduate students have gone on to pursue advanced degrees not only in anthropology but also in the other social sciences, humanities, and biological sciences. They are well prepared for professional careers in government, business, law, medicine, social services, and other fields.

If you have any specific questions, please send an email to an Anthropology Advisor.

Graduate Program: The UA School of Anthropology at the University of Arizona is one of a very few programs that continue to offer major and minor programs in all four subfields of Anthropology: archaeology, biological anthropology, linguistic anthropology, and sociocultural anthropology.
